☼ Nature Detox ☼

Finals week is upon us, which means my stress level is peeking. I'm sure you already have an idea about how stressful finals week is for college students. Here's a story about my destress adventure with my friend Jillian.
Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge

My friend Jillian and I went here to just get away and give ourselves a little "nature detoxification". It felt so good to just get out and drive. There is something soothing about being in the presence of nothing but God's purest creations.

God gave us such a pleasant surprise at the end of this bridge! About half way down I looked up and noticed three beautiful does right in front of us. They were by far the biggest does I had ever seen before. Jill and I sat there and looked at them for about 15-20 minutes just admiring them and the scenery all together. Pictures really do not do this place justice.
We ended up driving around the entire area with the windows down, music blasting through our wind blown hair, and just feeling completely relaxed. While driving around we came up on this wide open golden field with just one single ramp with an awning out in the middle. It was so funny because there were two paths we could've taken, gravel or grass. We ended up taking the grass route because why not take the road less traveled on? We got to the top and took a second to take in the view. Then we started looking around and saw that someone wrote a verse on this awning board.

It says,"Let all that you do be done in love" 1Corinthians 16:14. God really works in the most marvelous ways. His pleasant surprises throughout our whole adventure was so precious. It also reminded me that every where I go he is right by my side. Through it all he's still there rooting me on. Through the stress of finals week, to the drive home after a long three months of college life.
He still remains.
